General Information

Old West Outfitters is very experienced in hunting Elk, Deer, and Antelope on the properties they have harvested game animals on for the 12 past years and offers the experience of hunting these properties with weapon of choice on these private holdings. We offer various hunting packages at varied times of the year beginning in September and continuing through the month of December so that hopefully we can just about accommodate any hunters working schedule.

The lodging for our hunts are in refurbished ranch houses or newly constructed cabins and all meals are provided and home cooked by competent staff members, with snacks being provided for the time you are away from camp. The lodging provided for clients will generally be on, or adjacent to the properties we will be hunting and more than likely remote so we ask our hunters to come prepared. Our hunters will be provided with maps and directions to their hunt destination or meeting location from which they will then be taken to their camp.

Field Care of game harvested involving dressing, caping, skinning, and quartering will be carried out by our staff. We ask that our Clients come prepared with coolers adequate to hold the game to be harvested or just let us know ahead of time if you plan to donate the harvest so that we come prepared to take care of game.

Most of our Game is harvested at ranges up to 250 yards but it is found necessary at times to shoot beyond that distance so be comfortable with your weapon when you arrive at camp and be prepared to make that shot if necessary. If you have traveled by airlines we need to get out and shoot a bit the evening before your hunt begins just to make sure the baggage handling procedures haven't readjusted your optics.

All of our hunts take place on private grounds, therefore we feel comfortable using camo type hunting attire and blaze orange is not a requirement of the Game and Fish department.
