Old West Outfitters

We operate in three different Game Management Units located in the Northwest and Mideastern portions of New Mexico on Private tracts of land only. These properties all hold quality Trophy animals which are harvested only in manners which can be considered Fair Chase. In the three Units we anually harvest Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, and occasionally Whitetails along with predators and some Upland Game Birds. All of our hunts will offer a 100% opportunity Rate and generally a Harvest rate to match.

If you book with Old West Outfitters you are guaranteed your hunt simply because all hunts are on Private land with Private Landowner tags which have been acquired and paid for in full by Old West, so that when you are quoted a hunt price by us there is no hidden agenda or extra fees involved and when hunting with Old West there is no such thing as Trophy Fees.

Private Landowner Applications are required for our Mule Deer Hunts in Unit 5a and have to be submitted in early April as a rule. These applications must be acquired from the New Mexico Game and Fish by the Landowner and are issued by acrages on property to be hunted. This is done so as to insure the applicant the opportunity to hunt as there are only a limited number of applications available to Landowners which cannot be acquired by the general public. All applications will be acquired from Landowners and submitted to Game and Fish by Old West Outfitters.
